Emotional Brain Garbage ( EBG ).

The root cause of all emotional misery can be traced to the EBG (emotional brain garbage). EBG is a filter that distorts all reality. It takes the actual reality and perceives it as personal reality after altering it based on its own set patterns. Just like any garbage it adds its own foul smell to its surroundings. Just as the older the garbage the more it smells. The earlier the EBG takes root in the brain the more potent foul smell it creates. The foul smell that originates due to EBG manifests itself in the form of hate, anger, jealousy, restlessness etc. etc. all the attributes of ignorance. When we see these traits of ignorance in us we take them for granted as part of our basic human nature. As we feel that these traits are part of our genes we do not think in terms of removing them. We try to learn to manage them. EBG is worst than having a beast in our midst. EBG not only needs its own kind of food to survive, the person who has EBG creates a rippling affect on all society. Thus whole countries are....

We understand our self, others and how the world works through our developed brain power. What quality of brain power we possess is determined by how free our brains are of EBG. Our brain is the engine that determines our very being. And the quality of the brain determines the quality of our being. So to improve our being to become the highest +2 super mature quality we must make our brain +2 super mature. A +2 super mature brain is a brain that has no EBG.

EBG is not part of our genes. It is accumulated during the brains growth through the -2, -1 and +1 stages of brain development. If life during the first stage is healthy and normal then the EBG of the first stage gets gradually removed from the brain. If the second stage is also normal then the -1 EBG does not take root and the child is well on the way to a +1 brain power.

Quite a significant section of America creates the kind of learning environment that shapes the brain into a +1 brain power; as most Americans consciously create their children's brains that get stuck with +1 EBG; when they pass on their own trophy self image on to their children as in 'I could not be the best but my child will be.'
Thus passing on their own +1 EBG values onto their children so that the child can accomplish the +1 EGB driven goals that frustrated the parents. The parents want to fulfill their own +1 EBG ambitions through their child; because these are the values they know and are accustomed to.

It is about time the world woke up to the reality that EBG is a man made phenomena. And that the character traits created by EBG are not part of our genes. They are not part of our basic human nature. These are cultivated traits that can be uncultivated. And even more important we can train parents to ensure that these traits are not cultivated in the first place. And thus a healthy smooth transition can be insured from -2 to -1 to +1 to +2!
