"I can calculate the motions of heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people."- Sir Isaac Newton

"I can calculate the madness of people, but not the motions of heavenly bodies." - Sajid Khan

I have quantified the brain/mind. The human brain goes through approximately four stages of development as follows:
1) The premature mind of a new born child quantified with a value of negative 2.
2) The immature mind of a teenager quantified with a value of negative 1.
3) The mature mind of an adult quantified with a value of positive 1.
4) The super mature mind of a self master quantified with a value of positive 2.

At the first stage of the brain development the infant feels omnipotent and omnipresent. He feels that he alone is all existence. He not only feels as the center of the universe, he feels he is the whole universe. At this age of life these feelings are normal. If an adult is stuck at this brain level then he is mad/psychotic. His mind is driven by feelings of omnipotence and omnipresence. He feels above the law. He wants to own the world. He feels the world belongs to him and he cannot understand why it doesn't. Some of this brain level become serious criminals but most become dependent on society. They are barely able to survive on their own. They live their lives in fantasy land. As they cannot get real success and happiness they make it up in daydreaming their successes and their happinesses. All -2 brains have a -2 life and they cause -2 problems for the rest of the society.

At the second stage of the brain development the teenager has understood that he is not omnipresent. But a watered down version of omnipotence feelings still powers his brain. He feels that he is totally dependent on his parents and is helpless in many ways. Yet his feelings of omnipotence make him understand that he deserves the best and the most. Those adults who are stuck at this level feel that the a major part of the world pie must become his by hook or crook. He fears the law but if he feels he can get away with it then he will commit the petty crimes like stealing and getting by with bribery etc. Whole countries are populated by these -1 brains, where corruption is an accepted way of life. -1 brains cause -1 problems for the rest of society.

At the third stage of the mind development the adult understands that he is neither omnipresent nor omnipotent. But as the parents ingrain into their children's minds that they are the best they grow up feeling. 'I am the best' (a -1 brain power value). This results in the adult developing a 'trophy self image' for his own self. So even though he respects and obeys the law, he tries to accumulate as much trophies as possible. He defines his success in his trophies. Even those who are really successful are barely happy with their successes. Those who think that they have not achieved enough go into depression and get dependent on drugs. +1 minds are only a few steps away from becoming +2 minds. But what a difference in quality of life it makes. If only those who are parents of small children and those who will become future parents would realize that making their children's brain driven partly by -1 brain power creates a +1 life that is full of almost insane never ending and never being satisfied ambition. Most American minds are at this +1 stage of development.

At the highest stage of mind development the adult becomes the very essence of his true being. Not only does he not feel omnipotent or omnipresent or as a trophy, he feels humble. Humbleness opens up the doors to wisdom.
His mind at this stage is +2. His life is +2 and he creates +2 ripples in the life of all society. Most American minds can easily be at this +2 stage of development.
