Lack of emotional intelligence education is a big factor in the current mess in the world.

We need emotional intelligence education to cure a lot of the problems of the world.
We have hundreds of courses for making a living and not a single course for becoming our true self. We develop our intelligence and neglect our emotional intelligence which results in all this mess in the world.

Every single day the pundits are analyzing and proposing solutions
to the problems facing the country and the world. Somehow the problem
of lack of emotional intelligence education is below their radar screen.

The human brain has two parts. One part develops intelligence and the
other part develops emotional intelligence. Our education that
develops intelligence is cutting edge creating doctors, lawyers and
scientists. The part of the brain that develops emotional
intelligence that creates wise human beings we not only neglect we
continue to develop through a mixture of ignorance and wisdom. No
wonder our emotional intelligence is messed up. OUR CURRENT EDUCATION
SYSTEM ENSURES CUTTING EDGE EDUCATION FOR ONLY HALF OF OUR BRAIN! THE
OTHER HALF IS MESSED UP AND AS A RESULT WE ARE PAYING THE PRICE IN
ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE. FROM PERSONAL HAPPINESS TO GROUP DIVIDES. FROM
POVERTY TO BLOATED DEFENSE BUDGETS. LOOK AT ANY MAN MADE PROBLEM AND
MESS IN THE WORLD TODAY AND A MESSED UP EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE HAS A
ROLE IN IT’S CAUSE. CAN WE WAKE UP TO THIS TRAGEDY AND ESPECIALLY GET
OUR LEADERS TO TAKE ACTION?

Emotional intelligence is real. Emotional intelligence has a constant
impact on individual lives and even on groups and countries.
Emotional intelligence affects everything from emotional happiness to
depression from success to failure from relations between
individuals, spouses and even groups and countries. Emotional
intelligence controls defense
budgets and foreign policies.. It is the main factor in many of the
ills of society today. From differences between groups and countries
to differences between spouses all can be traced to lack of emotional
intelligence. One quick and easy way to get out of a lot of the mess
in the world today is to introduce a complete subject with lessons
and exercises just like math and science that teaches emotional
intelligence. This subject can be made compulsory from Pre-K to High
School and beyond. It is a course every parent must take, every
leader and every teacher must take and it must be given to every
couple that is planning marriage or even living together.

Humanity's rightful, hard earned place in the world is at the top. It
can be this way. Humanity's real strength is in its collective and individual
wisdom. We must awaken to our true substance. We must fill the one
gap in our education system that will ensure our economic leadership
and improve our greatness. We must create a new subject that teaches
emotional intelligence on the one hand and also make sure that we
elect leaders who are wise.

Above all we have to wake up the people at large that if they want to
improve their own lives. If they want better quality of life. If they
want more food on the table. If they want more healthy and loving
relationships among families and even between groups. If they want
real economic progress they will have to develop their emotional
intelligence to the highest possible level.
