Virtual Water Exchange/Water Sustainability Exchange.

Virtual Water Exchange can be a part of the UN that takes into account the water sustainability of every area of the world and encourages collective production of virtual water intensive products where ever there is abundant water.

Using the water sustainability factor coupled with the concept of virtual water we can expand the concept to include 'Water Sustainability Exchange'. Places that are poor in water sustainability can invest in the actual production of virtual water intensive products in places where water sustainability is rich.

Bangladesh is a good example where there is a huge excess of water. They do not have the resources to manage and use this huge water resource. In fact not only does most of the water flow into the ocean it almost every year causes floods thus bringing economic loss and misery. Countries like Japan who import virtual water products can consider setting up projects to convert and harness this abundant virtual water resource.

Virtual Water Exchange can be a part of the UN that takes into account the water sustainability of every area of the world and encourages collective production of virtual water intensive products where ever there is abundant water and make countries aware of the cost of virtual water for those countries that have limited water resources. And encourage countries that have excess water and those that have limited water to pool their resources and compliment each others given assets and liabilities.
