The basic cause of corruption.

How to reduce/eliminate corruption.
At birth most normal pregnancies result in a healthy baby with a healthy brain/mind. At this stage of the brain/mind the normal child feels omnipotent and omnipresent. At first the child blocks out the new reality by sleeping most of the time. At it gradually becomes aware of its new life it begins to enjoy the dotting presence of its mother. It loves her hugs and kisses. It enjoys the open spaces. It especially enjoys the pleasure of sucking and tasting. It even loves the pleasures of breast feeding. Even bathing and cleanliness make it feel better. Soon it begins to feel itself as a separate entity. And its feelings of omnipresence give way to feelings of humbleness and yet it does not feel helpless as its loving parents are at its beck and command. It is human nature that when one moves from a happy life to a happier life then one forgets the past self identity and moves on to the new identity. Just as a Senator when he becomes President looses his Senator identity and moves on ...

In the case of those children who encounter pain and neglect very early on their mind don't understand the pain and so the brain comes to the rescue and blocks out the new pain by living in the past. Just as a king who looses his kingdom still feels like a king. Pain at this early stage results in the child growing up prone to schizophrenia or even worse depending on the level of its conscious sufferings. However those children who have a normal upbringing up to the stage of when they are about to realize that they are a separate entity suddenly encounter pain: at the very time when they realize that they are not alone. They transfer this pain to the other individual. They blame the other for their suffering. This can happen mostly to children who are neglected. A pain experiencing child cannot escape from this painful life. The brain comes to the rescue. It starts to block out the unpleasant reality and starts to blame and hate the elders. It starts to cling to the feelings of omnipotence. As it is currently helpless it begins to feel that it is truly deserving of a better life and that its pain is temporary and the others are to blame for this thus it has less respect for others and even less respect for their property. It feels jealous when it sees that others are enjoying where it deserves to have it all so it becomes frustrated and decides that it is being cheated of its rightful due. So cheating for the child becomes an accepted way of life. So if others are cheating him then why should he not cheat them. So corruption becomes an acceptable option for him. He grows up corrupt determined to have all that he deserves by hook or by crook. As he is already afraid of others he grows up afraid of the law. So he puts on a phony 'honest' image and indulges in corruption when ever he feels he can get away with the crime.

But this can happen even to children who have responsible loving parents. In the case of dotting parents an accident where the child falls down due to no fault of the parent and breaks a bone or experiences even a bee sting or the pain of fear in the dark or gets scared for some other reason; the child blames the parent. As a result hate along with all hate's attributes appear in the brain/mind sometimes even in children of loving parents.

The social culture can also have an impact on the brain/mind of individuals on a mass scale. Many third world countries have this entrenched culture of corruption. To the extent that most people accept corruption as an accepted way of life things in these countries will remain the same. Even honest and wise people are helpless in these corrupt countries as they have to get by and survive so they accept it as a way of life.
